Tennis Necklaces

A tennis necklace is a continuous line of diamonds, each stone set in its own small head and linked to the next so the strand moves with the neck. There is no pendant and no gap. Seema's are set in 14K and 18K gold with three prong, bezel or bar spaced settings, and the diamonds can be lab-grown or natural.

Sixteen inches sits at the base of the neck and reads close, almost like a choker. Seventeen to eighteen inches falls at or just below the collarbone and is the easier length to wear with an open collar or a blazer. Seema's tennis necklaces run 16 to 18 inches, and some are adjustable within that range.

Seema's tennis necklaces run from about 1.5 carats to just under 16 carats total weight. Two to five carats is the everyday range, spread across 50 to 180 small stones so the line stays fine against the skin. Above seven carats the individual stones get visibly larger and the necklace becomes the piece people notice first.

Yes, and most of ours are built for it. The stones sit low in prong or bezel settings and the strands close with a safety clasp, which is the part that matters for daily wear. Take it off for the gym, the pool and the shower, and have the clasp and settings checked once a year.
