Pendant Necklaces

With a crew neck, 16 inches keeps the pendant above the fabric where it can be seen. With a V neck or an open collar, 18 inches drops the pendant into the opening and reads cleaner. Most of Seema's pendant chains adjust between 16 and 18 inches, so one necklace covers both.

Yes. Pendants here come on rope, paperclip, link and fine cable chains, and the pendant can be moved to a different chain or a different length. Chain style changes the whole read: a paperclip chain makes a small pendant look modern, a fine cable chain lets the pendant stay the only thing you notice.

A pendant necklace has one focal element hanging at the center of the chain. A station necklace spreads several stones evenly around the whole length, with gold between them and no single center piece. A pendant draws the eye to one point, a station necklace spreads light across the collarbone.

Half an inch is the everyday size and it is where most of this collection sits, small enough to wear under a shirt and still visible above one. Around three quarters of an inch starts to read as the main piece of an outfit. Larger paved pendants and medallions are better as the single piece you wear on their own.
